I rarely leave negative reviews, but after months of trying to resolve an issue directly with Jaguar Land Rover Cerritos, I feel compelled to share my experience.
In September 2025, I purchased a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQB 250+ from this dealership for under the federal used EV tax credit price threshold. My household qualifies for the credit, and the vehicle otherwise appears eligible.

Communication needs improvements, no coordination between the dealer and upper management. Although I appreciate the service representative efforts, my car still has the recall issue . My service experience at Cerritos Jaguar Land Rover was outstanding William Palos, my service advisor, was professional, attentive and helped me directly with all my concerns. Maggie, the loaner car representative, was friendly and made the loaner process smooth and stress free. I also want to thank Kasura and Gustavo in sales for their great work, their dedication and support made the whole experience even better!
Despite paying for this diagnostic and repair service, the same locking issue persisted immediately after I picked up my vehicle. When I returned to the dealership, I was informed that the technicians had “missed something” and that additional work and costs would be required to resolve the issue.

This dealership got most organized service writers I’ve seen, I have many services done on my vehicles in verity of dealers, and never seen this level of service like in Cerritos Land Rover, any where from the moment I dropped off my vehicle till the moment I got it back, a loner car last minute , update every day, few updates that I didn’t know that my vehicle needed got it done with no change, free car wash and the service I took my vehicle for cost me only $348.77, when other Land Rover dealership wanted to charge me $874.00. The experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. I originally came in months ago regarding an issue, and I’m still waiting on the necessary parts. I was finally told the parts had arrived, so I dropped off my car—only to be given a rental that was filthy. My vehicle was delivered to me without floor mats. Once I reached out to the dealership they ignored my concerns and after a week finally told me that I’d have to buy my own. I’ve never heard of such a thing especially for this type of high end car. Extremely disappointing and horrible experience.
Sales manager very pushy to sell accessories package. I had said I didn't want the package but Bill pushed it until I agreed. He talks so loud that I just wanted him to leave the room. I should have just walked away, and gone somewhere else.

Customer for 14 years. Service told me I needed repairs I didn’t. Never returning
Long wait for update. No loaner car. I have to pay out of pocket for over 2 weeks for a rental car. No one contacted me with an update. I had to call the dealer for an update on my car.
The person helping me acted like they didn’t want to be there. He informed me there was no record of the service warranty I purchased and therefore the burden of proof was on me. Margarita Alvarez and Jamie Richardson were both great and very pleasant to deal with. They both deserve 5 stars. Deceptive Practices
I strongly advise staying away from this dealership due to my ongoing experience with their unprofessional and deceptive behavior.
Over 100 days ago, I canceled a protection plan I purchased at the time of sale. I have written confirmation from the protection company itself that the plan was canceled on May 20, 2025, and that the dealership was notified. Despite this, I have not received my refund, and the finance department continues to give me the runaround.

My experience with Land Rover Cerritos was exceptional. Gustavo was very helpful and professional. He answered all my questions without hesitation. AWFUL... Buyer beware. Was shopping for a used EV they had in stock. They don't assist with applying the used EV tax credit at the time of purchase, that's okay. But they say will provide everything you need to claim it on your own taxes.
FALSE. They will not provide the one required form you need to claim the credit, the Time of Sale Seller report.

It took them a week to do a diagnostic text to find out they the check engine light was on. The service tech didn’t return phone calls for status updates. The service manager tried to upsell me every time I talked to him and it took 3 weeks for them to complete service.
Everyone there is very pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They make you feel confident that they will help you and take care of whatever problem you have.

My dream car had been the Land Rover Defender but on Dec 26, 2009 I found a 2006 LR3 which I fell in love with.

I purchased my 2023 full size Range Rover here. Sales was friendly and professional. Quite the contrast with the service department. Amish Patel is unprofessional, upsells without boundaries and does a horrible job keeping you informed. Forget about returning calls. It’s awful. I’m on month 3 waiting on a part they didn’t install. After many follow ups Amish suggested I go to another dealer, as their systems are changing and it will take them months of data entry. I’m not at all surprised, as his attention to customer service was off from the beginning.
Just awful. My experience was bad from the start - it went from no response to over response and rude. Typical car/used car sales pressure and experience. Greasy is the one word I would use to describe my interaction.
